As some of you may know, March is Social Work Month and we have created a t-shirt “Kindness Moves the World” to raise funds for both the Social Work Department and Hospitality Homes. We have created this design based on the SW Month theme this year which is “Compassion + Action” which calls us as Social Workers and wider hospital staff to turn our compassion into action to address a variety of societal challenges. Hospitality Homes is an organization that helps families find a place to stay while they are receiving essential medical treatment while in Boston. They work with host families, our hospital social workers, and the patient families who are impacted directly. We chose this organization due to their direct impact so many of us have seen during our work with families and we want to continue to support their work in the future. Thank you so much for supporting the work we do in the hospital to support our patients and families!
